CELESTIAL SEASONINGS ONLINE RECIPE CONTEST COMPLETE OFFICIAL RULES
  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Internet access is required to enter. Open to legal residents of The United States aged 18 or older at time of entry. Void in Canada, Puerto Rico, and where prohibited by law. Persons in any of the following categories are not eligible to participate or win a prize: (a) persons who, since January 1, 2005, were or are employees or agents of Hain-Celestial Group; White Horse Productions Inc.; Your Perceptions Inc.; their parent companies, affiliates, or subsidiaries; or the service agencies or independent contractors of any of the above organizations; (b) suppliers, distributors, and retailers of Hain-Celestial Group; (c) individuals engaged in the development of, the production or distribution of materials for, or the implementation of this sweepstakes; and (d) employees of, persons in the immediate family (spouse, siblings, parents, grandparents, or children) of, or persons living in the same household as any person in any of the preceding categories.

  2. HOW TO ENTER.
    To enter, submit an original recipe including Celestial Seasonings tea as a key ingredient on the contest Web site at www.celestialseasonings.com. Entries received 8:00 a.m., PST, on 3/23/05 through 11:59:59 p.m. PDT on 5/31/05 ("Promotion Period") will be accepted for review by Celestial Seasonings.

    To enter, access www.celestialseasonings.com during the Promotion Period and follow the entry instructions. Complete the recipe entry and contact information requested in the information fields (original recipe, first and last name, e-mail address, and phone number (optional)). When your entry is complete, click on the area marked "Submit" (once submitted, entry cannot be deleted, canceled, or modified). You may enter more than one original recipe, but each must be entered separately. Enter using only an e-mail address subscribed to and registered in your name. In the event of a dispute about entries submitted by multiple individuals using the same e-mail account, entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to enter the Sweepstakes at the actual time of entry. The authorized e-mail account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entrants assume all risk of lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries.

    At the conclusion of the Promotion Period, Celestial Seasonings will review all entries complete received and will select five (5) finalists based on recipe quality, originality, and inclusion of tea as a key ingredient. Finalists will be selected and notified on or around 6/23/05. The five finalist recipes will then be posted on the contest Web site at www.celestialseasonings.com, and visitors to the contest Web site will be able to cast their votes for the Grand Prize winner. Open online voting will occur starting 8:00:00 a.m. on 7/01/05 PDT through 11:59:59 p.m. PDT ("Voting Period") at www.celestialseasonings.com. Only one vote per visitor will be accepted. Votes generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. At the conclusion of the Voting Period, the Grand Prize winning recipe will be selected based on receipt of the most votes. The Grand Prize winner and all other contest entrants will be notified on or around 8/18/05.

  3. PRIZES AND ODDS OF WINNING. Five finalists will be selected from all original recipes entered during the Promotion Period. One Grand Prize winner will be determined by public online voting at www.celestialseasonings.com.
    GRAND PRIZE: The Grand Prize winner will receive the grand prize of a Celestial Seasonings® gift basket containing a variety of Celestial Seasonings® products and publications and fifty-two (52) boxes of assorted Celestial Seasonings® teas. The Grand Prize winning recipe will be presented on the Celestial Seasonings' Web site, in the Celestial Seasonings e-mail newsletter, and on select boxes of Celestial Seasonings tea (to be selected by Celestial Seasonings). The gift basket will be delivered within one month after the Grand Prize winner is announced. Teas will be delivered in four approximately equal shipments of about 13 boxes between September 2005 and September 2006. Celestial Seasonings® will select the teas to be included in the prize. The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $250 (U.S.). The odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The collection of entries will be conducted under the supervision of Your Perceptions Inc., an independent selection organization. The selection of finalists will be conducted by Celestial Seasonings, whose decisions are final and binding. Selection of the Grand Prize winner will be conducted by open online voting at www.celestialseasonings.com. Voting will be conducted under the supervision of and certified by Your Perceptions Inc., an independent organization, and the results of this vote are final and binding. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decision of the finalist selection organization and open online voting process.

  4. GENERAL CONDITIONS. An eligible recipe entrant must certify that his or her recipe has not been previously published, publicized, or the winner of a national contest. The recipe must include complete instructions for preparation, readily available ingredients, standard measures, and the suggested number of servings. Celestial Seasonings has no obligation to prepare or taste every recipe submitted and reserves the right to adjust winning recipes. The winner will be notified by e-mail and may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Publicity and Liability within seven days of notification. In the event of noncompliance, if a winner cannot be reached at the e-mail on that winner's entry, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or is undeliverable for any reason beyond the control of Sponsor, that prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. No substitution of any prizes will be offered. No prize transfer permitted. If a prize is unavailable, Sponsor reserves the sole right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Limit one prize per person. All taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner.

    By participating and accepting a prize, where permitted by law, the winner grants to Sponsor an assignment of all copyrights in the recipe (and agrees to confirm that grant in writing) and those acting pursuant to the authority of Sponsor, the right to edit, print, publish, broadcast, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the World Wide Web, at any time, the recipe and that winner's name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, and biographical information as news or information and for advertising and promotional purposes without additional permission, notice, compensation or review.

  5. RELEASE OF LIABILITY. All entrants agree to hold harmless and release Hain-Celestial Group; White Horse Productions Inc.; Your Perceptions Inc.; and their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Web site and sweepstakes from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this sweepstakes, participating in any sweepstakes-related activity, and/or delivery/misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Web-site users, by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in the sweepstakes, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of submissions in the sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error; omission; interruption; deletion; defect; delay in operation or transmission; communications-line failure; or theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines; computer online systems, servers, or providers; computer equipment; computer software; or failure of e-mail or entry due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participant's or to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading materials from this Web site or sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any entrants. Any activities intended to disrupt or interfere with the proper play of the sweepstakes or defraud the Sponsor in any way will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Participants who engage in any of the aforementioned activities will be disqualified and will forfeit any prizes won. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, due to but without limitation to, infection by computer virus, worm or bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, that in the sole opinion of Sponsor could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes.

  6. DISPUTES: THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE STATE OF COLORADO WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participants agree that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually, without resorting to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Boulder County, CO, having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than the participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes), and the participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
